Bali – Following the success of its previous event, RUKUN Senior Living once again successfully held the Confidence Senior Festival 2019 in Bali, closing out the 2019 series as Indonesia's original pioneer of the Senior Festival concept.
RUKUN Senior Living, together with ASLI (the Indonesian Senior Living Association), was supported by Confidence adult diapers, the main sponsor for three consecutive years since 2016, along with ABDI (Indonesian Hearing Aids) as this event's gold sponsor. The event was also supported by various local sponsors at each stop.
The event drew more than 700 seniors from various communities across Bali. Held free and open to the public, attendees received gift bags, snacks, and a shared lunch. The event opened with group exercise, brain exercises, and other entertainment. A health seminar, part of the event program, covered topics including "Common Health Issues: Incontinence in Seniors," "Hearing Problems in Seniors," and "10 Signs of Dementia," presented by the Alzheimer's Indonesia Association (ALZI).
Participants were also invited to take part in the Confidence Senior Festival 2019 program by sending representatives to compete in a Movement and Song competition, as well as an Ethnic Fashion Show.
The Bali event marked the close of the fourth and final leg of the 2019 series, which had previously been held at RUKUN Senior Living, the Arjuna Field at Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta, Cikarang, and finally at the Inna Heritage Field and Town Square on Jl. Veteran, Denpasar – Bali.
2020 Senior Festival Plans (As Announced at the Time)
At the time this article was written, RUKUN Senior Living planned to hold the Senior Festival 2020 across four locations in Indonesia: Belitung Island, Bali, Cikarang, and RUKUN Senior Living itself within the Darmawan Park precinct, Sentul.
